Present during the event was the office of Senator Hon. Mohamed Said Chute’s. The training sessions were designed to equip local entrepreneurs with the essential skills and tools needed to succeed in today’s competitive market.

MSEA collaboration with Kenya Industrial Estate Limited (K.I.E) Business Advisory services conducted an empowerment entrepreneurship sensitization in Marsabit County from 28th to 31st August 2024. Present during the event was the office of Senator Hon. Mohamed Said Chute’s. The training sessions were designed to equip local entrepreneurs with the essential skills and tools needed to succeed in today’s competitive market.
Over 300 small enterprises from Laisamis, North-Horr, Saku and Moyale across all business sectors that comprised of Youth, Women, People Living With Disabilities (PLWDS) and vulnerable groups attended the event.
The training covered diverse subjects which included business technology for value addition which focused on enhancing local MSEs with cutting-edge skills to improve and diversify their products, E-Commerce activation to enable entrepreneurs to harness the power of digital platforms to expand their market reach.

The entrepreneurs where also briefed about the role and mandate of MSEA in supporting MSEs, the upcoming NYOTA and KJET Project and the importance of formalization and registration of business associations through MSEA registrar system that is now conveniently available on the e Citizen Platform for registration and other MSEA services.
